From Kindergarten to Grade 12 we aim to teach and train each student to reach their fullest potential for the glory of Christ.  We believe that each child is created by God with unique areas of strength and giftedness.  We aim to identify those areas early in a child’s education and strategically plan for their growth and success.  Where a student encounters challenges in their progress, we aim to quickly identify the cause and put strategies in place to enable them to overcome these difficulties.  The smaller class sizes make it possible for us to more carefully monitor the progress of each individual child in this process.

A close partnership between the school and parents is a key component in the educational success of a student and we work hard to keep parents informed of their child’s progress and included in the process of planning for success.

All our teaching staff are Manitoba Certified and, as a team, they provide a rich mixture of youthful enthusiasm and the wisdom of experience.  They work together across Grade levels and subject areas to ensure that we are setting consistently high academic standards throughout the school.  We begin to train students from an early age to take responsibility for their own learning through regular homework and various research projects, and we gradually increase the level of that responsibility as they grow through the school.

Our High School program offers students all the options that they need not only to graduate but also to prepare them for further education. 

We aim to impart to all our students a love of learning and a confidence in their own abilities which will enable them to continue to grow and develop long after they have left The King’s School.
