Suzan Zielke BPE, B.Ed – Principal

Suzan completed her Post Secondary Education at the University of Manitoba, graduating as a specialist teacher in the area of Physical Education. Before pursuing a career as a teacher, she worked as an adult educator in the field of physical fitness and anatomical studies. She began her career as a teacher in 1999, as a public school elementary physical educator. Suzan began teaching at the King’s School in the year 2000, and has taught K-12 Physical Education, Grade 4 Math, Health, Computer Studies, and Leadership, and served as Athletic Director for nine years. 


Janet Newediuk, B. HEc, B. Ed - Vice Principal, 9-12

Janet attended the University of Manitoba where she completed a Bachelor of Home Economics Degree, followed by a Bachelor of Education degree with a minor in Guidance and Counselling. Her teaching career began in 1975 in Selkirk as a Junior High Home Economics teacher. Four years later she began teaching in a brand new Lockport School, and continued there for 28 years, teaching Home Economics, French, Social Studies, Math, Computer courses, and installing and managing the student and classroom computer network. Retiring from the Public School system, she taught at Springs Christian Academy, and then at The King's School for the last several years, teaching Social Studies, English, Math, Physics, and Computer-based courses.

Aaron Wiebe – Chairman of the Board

Our Board of Directors is made up of educators, business professionals, involved parents, and pastors. The King’s School is a distinct legal entity from Gateway Church and is governed by a separate Board of Directors. The Board meets monthly to set policy, monitor finances, and offer guidance to empower the Principal to oversee the school. Questions for the Board may be submitted here info@thekingsschool.ca
