O LORD, OUR LORD / PSALM 8

MUSIC © RALPH ZACHARIAS

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name
In all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens
From the lips of children and infants
You have ordained praise because of Your enemies
To silence the foe and the avenger

When I consider Your heavens
The work of Your fingers
The moon and stars which You have set in place
What is man that You are mindful of him
The son of man that you care for him?

You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
And crowned him with glory and honour
You made him ruler over the works of Your hands
You put everything under his feet
All flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field
The birds of the air and the fish of the sea
All that swim the paths of the seas

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name
In all the earth.

Psalm chapter eight.

HOW LOVELY IS YOUR DWELLING PLACE / PSALM 84

MUSIC © RALPH ZACHARIAS

1 How lovely is Your dwelling place,
O LORD Almighty!
2 My soul yearns, even faints,
For the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

4 Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They are ever praising You.
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in You,
Who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.
7 They go from strength to strength, till each appears
Before God in Zion.

10 Better is one day in Your courts
Than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
The LORD bestows favor and honor;
No good thing does He withhold
From those whose walk is blameless.

12 O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in You.

Psalm Eighty Four

WHEN SOMEONE INVITES YOU TO A WEDDING... / LUKE 14:8-11

MUSIC © RALPH ZACHARIAS

8 “When someone invites you to a wedding feast
Do not take the place of honor
For a person more distinguished than you
May have been invited
9 If so, the host who invited both of you
Will come and say to you

‘Give this man your seat
Then, humiliated, you will have to take
The least important place

10 But when you are invited
Take the lowest place
So that when your host comes
He will say to you
‘Friend, move up to a better place

Then you will be honored in the presence
Of all your fellow guests
11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled
And he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Luke fourteen verses eight to eleven

IF YOU HAVE ANY ENCOURAGEMENT / Phil. 2:1-4

MUSIC © RALPH ZACHARIAS

"If you have any encouragement
From being united with Christ,
If any comfort from his love,
If any fellowship with the Spirit,
If any tenderness and compassion,
Then make my joy complete

By being like-minded,
Having the same love,
Being one in spirit and purpose

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.
But in humility consider others better than yourselves,
Each of you should look not only to your own interests
But also to the interests of the others."

Philippians chapter two, verses one to four
